Police arrested a man after a "lengthy search" to find him following a report of a domestic assault, the Michigan State Police reports. Troopers from the Michigan State Police Marshall Post White Pigeon Detachment were dispatched about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, to a domestic assault reported on the 60000 block of Youngman Road, Fabius Township, St. Joseph County.

Police identified a woman who drowned in a St. Joseph County lake as Alison R. Kunz. The body of the 24-year-old Saline woman was found by divers around 12:35 p.m. on Sunday, a day after she disappeared while swimming near a pontoon boat on Clear Lake.

Police say a 27-year-old Lansing man was found floating face-down Saturday night in Lake Michigan at Holland State Park. Yellow flags were flying at the time, a warning to swimmers that the water could be risky.

A search resumed Sunday morning in Clear Lake in St. Joseph County for a 23-year-old woman who presumably fell or jumped off a pontoon boat late Saturday afternoon. Deputies got a 911 call at about 5:30 pm that the woman had been on the boat but disappeared.
