|Neighbors say they're concerned after a massive fire broke out at a potential drug house in west Las Vegas.
Police and fire responded Monday to a home near Lake South and Fort Apache Road as explosions were heard as the fire burned.
Police said narcotic investigators were looking into the case.
Neighbors say they believe this was a drug house because right after the fire broke out, the people who lived there took off.|

|A furniture store plans to donate new mattresses to all 30 Clark County firehouses in the Las Vegas Valley, starting Wednesday with a station in the west valley.
Walker Furniture will deliver 10 new mattresses and foundation sets to Firehouse Station 22, 6745 W. Flamingo Road, at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday as part of its “Project Firehouse: Rested and Ready” campaign, according to a press release from the company.|

|It was on the night of November 10, 2018, when two men made the selfless decision that would cost them their lives.
43-year-old Rodolfo Torres and 57-year-old Brian Morris, both Reno residents, got out of their cars to help with a crash at the corner of Mount Rose Highway and Thomas Creek Road. It was then when another driver lost control, and hit one of the vehicles at the scene, killing Torres and Morris.|

Lt. Gordon with LVMPD says around 8:42 p.m., fire crews responded to a fire in the backyard of a house in the 3200 block of Crescent Run Court. While firefighters were at the scene, some small bottles started to ignite.|

|Tivoli Village invited local firefighters to participate in a friendly game of street hockey just south of the Piazza. The firefighters visited Tivoli Village on January 12, 2019 and tested their street hockey skills all while benefiting the Las Vegas Firefighters Youth Hockey group.
Special guests included Bark Andre Furry and the new Miss Nevada Teen USA, Erica Bonilla, formerly Miss Tivoli.|

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office released this photograph of its search for people who drown at Topaz Lake in Douglas County.
The body of 50-year-old Jesse Gregory of Sparks was found 22 feet under the water after the body of 45-year-old Bert Peterson of Sparks was found.|

|Las Vegas Fire and Rescue said six people were displaced after an apartment caught on fire early Friday morning in downtown Las Vegas.
According to LVFR, firefighters were called to the 330 block of North 14th Street, located between Stewart Avenue and U.S. Highway 93, at around 5:12 a.m. When they arrived, firefighters noticed smoke coming from a one-story apartment building.|

|Car fire at shopping center east of Las Vegas Strip creates heavy smoke|

|Heavy smoke could be seen coming from a shopping center near the Las Vegas Strip Thursday afternoon.
Black smoke billowed out of the southwest corner of Harmon Avenue and Paradise Road, just east of Las Vegas Boulevard, starting around 1:20 p.m.
The smoke had started to clear as of 1:30 p.m.
Deputy Fire Chief Jeff Buchanan with the Clark County Fire Department said crews responded to a car fire in the area, and no injuries were reported.|

|Northern Nevada's first snow storm of 2019 caused the Reno Fire Department to respond to nearly 100 calls.
"We had 93 calls overnight and we average about 114 calls a day," Reno Fire Chief Dave Cochran says.
Cochran says the wet, heavy snow was the cause behind many of the calls, such as car accidents, power lines and transformers blowing out.|

According to Reno Police, the car crash closed the intersection of W. Fourth St. and McCarran Blvd.
Officers say the car crashed into a signal light pole and knocked it down Also, that the driver sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital.|

|The holiday season made for a very busy workload for area first responders going into the new year.
Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis said crews responded to a residence on Blosser Ranch Road on Christmas Eve for a reported motorhome fire just before 5:30 p.m.
“There were initial concerns that there was discharging ammunition within the structure, and it was also relayed that there may have been a dog bite that occurred on the property,” Lewis said.|

|Reno firefighters have extinguished a house fire near Reno High School.
The call went out about 8:30PM December 31, 2018 on Riviera Street near Reno High School. KOLO 8 News Now's Noah Bond talked with the homeowner, who says the cause may be electrical and everyone got out safely.
Firefighters say the flames burned about half an hour, and there is extensive damage to the home.|
